The staff of CPR thanks you for your interest in publication. We are currently
accepting both fiction and poetry. Our reading time is year round, but the cutoff
dates for consideration are November 30 for the Fall/Winter issue and April 25 for
the Spring/Summer issue. Any submissions received after these dates will be
considered for the following issue.
For POETRY, please submit between four and six unpublished poems. Cover letters are
encouraged and should be typed in the email. Poems should be attached in one document
with the author's last name and genre he or she is submitting to in the file name.
For FICTION, we will consider microfiction, short stories, and excerpts from longer
works--only if they can stand on their own. Once again, cover letters are encouraged
and should be typed in the email. Submissions should be attached in one document with authors last name,
title of work, and genre in the file name. Please send one submission at a time and
refrain from sending other submissions until you have heard back from us.
Please send all submissions as a single Word or RTF document to
submit@clemsonpoetryreview.com with
your NAME and GENRE as the subject. Since this is a "college student only" e-zine, all
submissions must be sent from a .edu email address. Please include relevant cover
letter information, as well as your .edu email address, university or college, and
expected date of graduation.
We do not accept previously published work; however, we will consider simultaneous
submissions (submissions that have been sent concurrently to another journal) with
the explicit provision that the writer inform us immediately if the work is
accepted for publication elsewhere.
For further information, please email us at editor@clemsonpoetryreview.com.
